How funny!! That's the way I always packed when I had to travel for work.

Sorry to hear there will be no shopping trip. I thought you might have the fun of visiting the LQS and sharing pics of what you found. Oh, well. Hope the trip was fun.

It would be just silly to bring home an empty suitcase!

I would put the quilt in the bottom of the suitcase under some clothes. If your flying. then if you happen to not get to shop just divide the clothes so you don't have a empty suitcase to come home with.

I saw a tip the other day I wanted to share with you. If you have ever not had yout suit case show up at the end of a flight like I have you might want to try this next time you fly.
If you happen to be flying with somone else then put half of your clothes in there suit case and half of theres in yours. Then carryon meds and other items you don;t want to be without. This way if one suitcase goes missing you will still have what you need until they find the missing case.

Except in the case when they both go missing as happened to DH and me once. We were on our flight home so they delivered it to our house later in the day and it wasn't a big problem, except for the time and paperwork involved.
