the first thing I saw was lightening too, So how about "Fast as Lightening" since its for a Race.

Considering the use for this quilt how about a play with words and call it Check Point.

"Relay for Life" - it looks like a path a runner might take, & sense that is the name of the benefit --- maybe they would like a quilt named after them.
