They certainly don't make them like they used to. Have fun with your new toy. You were in the right place at the right time. Lucky you. Enjoy!!

She's not cleaned up yet, (neither is my house, please ignore that! ) Took these when William ran down to Lowe's to get electrical connectors to repair some wiring problems with her. (When I first plugged her in, she took off like a racehorse!! Had some crossed wires...) Now that she's fixed, she sews like a dream, and even after all these years without any TLC, she's quiet and hums!

I haven't decided about the cabinet yet, altho I do think I'll send it out eventually to be refinished. For now, it's going to be just cleaned and waxed.

It's funny that this machine with her Queen Anne cabinet should come into my life right now, as I'm reading a book called "The Other Boelyn Girl", about Queen Anne's sister Mary, and of course Queen Anne! :) Needless to say, I've named this machine "Anne".

    Meet Anne...

The attachments...the pin cushion has a tape measure in it, and I've never seen one of the needle threaders, especially not in black!

I manage a storage facility, and the lady had come in to vacate her unit, telling me that she was going to have a yard sale. I asked her what she was selling that I couldn't live without, a common question for me ;) , and when she told me of the machine I asked to see it! Most of the time, there's nothing in those units that I want...but this little lady had to "come home"!! :)

Well, I'm pea green with envy. ;) It's just gorgeous!

That little cylindrical needle case is very hard to find. It goes with an early 66-1 with the carved-out attachment drawer in the center. I had to buy a lot of eBay auctions to get all the attachments that go in this drawer.

Here's an ad showing the attachments in their drawer:

You can see the little cylindrical needle case in the center of the drawer by the bobbins
