Wow, snow and 29* temps.? Right now I would give my left arm for anything around freezing. We may set a record today as it is already above 90*. Thankfully my DH and I both prefer colder weather. Sadly, we don't live in the right place for that. Most of my quilt group prefer the hot weather and complain all winter about the cold (not your kind of cold but NC cold which is way less chilly) so I think this summer, I will complain about the heat. lol Enjoy your brief summer when it finally gets there.

Welcome from Alabama. We have family in Huntley Montana. Hope you are not affected by the flooding.

Welcome from Central PA. The dream of living the good life in Montana is one I've had - only because some of the best novels take place in Montana.

Marie, I LOVE your avatar!!! Yes, it's great living here...we've been here 17 years, and this is where I want to be forever! We live 6000+ feet up in the mountains in a log homw, and the peace and quiet is awesome! Are you native? I feel like it...wanting to be here since I was a kid.

Our little cabin is at 5,900 feet in the mountains so I know what you mean about the peace and quiet. We bought our land and built our cabin in 1998 - 2000 and moved here full time 4 years ago. My avitar is of the humming bird feeder in June of 2008, those poor things drank a lot those few cold days.

Townsend has a quilt show coming up July 16 and 17. If your in the area I think you'd enjoy it. It isn't big but we usually have about 100 quilts. If you're ever in this area send me a PM and we could meet at the LQS.
