Do you all realize that according to US Census everyone over 30 years married is in the 1% class. 40 years .35% or 1/3 of 1%. WOW! We made it! Congratulations to everyone on here. Maybe we should start a thread of how we managed it so others may learn. LOL

If my grandparents (my Mom's parents) were still alive they would be celebrating their 88th anniversary this year. They had just celebrated their 66th when my gradmother passed away. It's amazing!!!

Jack and I celebrated 59 on April 13th this year. Congratulations on keeping the tradition going! Nice to hear others stay married like we did. And you know what? We love each other more now than ever. Just keeps getting better. I feel so blessed to have such a sweet husband.

Sounds like we have been married for the same length of time. We are also the same age. Congratulations! The older we get faster the time flys.

You are so fortunatel My 1st hubby passed away after 19.5 years and my 2nd after 18.5 years. Present one is 15 years in October. You are blessed. May you have many more happy years together!
