I don't understand people's need to buy FQs when the ones I've seen run from $1.50 to $2.50 ea. I think it's much cheaper to just buy 1/4 yd. (if that size works for you) or 1/2 yd. of fabrics.

Some are at $6.50 and bidding isn't over yet!

I think my LQS is getting $2.75/$3.50 also for FQ's and recently posted a notice that they will no longer cut FQ's which ones do you want, I'll look to see if they have any that you are missing, (I'm going back tomorrow, (was there today already) I saw a bin filled with things I want to go through).
You are going to the LQS again:?:
These are the ones I have, anything else I'll take. http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-127551-1.htm

BTW, I bought you something very,hmmm..special yesterday

Yes, I am going back tomorrow, today I stopped in for fabric for a project for a very special "quilt daughter". While there I saw a bin with FQ's, charm packs, and other misc. fabrics that I want to looke through. I saw one charm pack that I absolutely "NEED" and other things that I want to take a second look at, this bin belonged to a lady that worked at the quilt shop that passed away and all proceeds go to the american cancer society.

I try to find it for less than $2. If you pay $2, that's $8 a yard. I can find a whole yard on sale for less than that; even of good quality fabric!!

I pay about $2.50 at my LQS/online, which is not unreasonable to me.

I was just in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and everything in Jackson is much higher than the LQS's in MO. I went through their FQ's looking for fabrics for my I Spy quilt. They had drawers full and were $2 each or $1.50 for ten or more. I got 20 FQ's and thought it was a pretty good deal. Their bolt prices were $9.50 - $11.50. I think their newer bolts were the higher priced bolts.

So I had to go look up Kaffe... Sorry but I wouldn't pay anything for those fabrics.

My FQ purchases go between a buck or two.

I don't buy fat quarters. I like 1 yard cuts and charm packs -- don't know why, I just do.
