    I'm working on my quilting room today. Bought an armoire which I have fitted with baskets. 3/4 of my fabric is under control now! Haven't sewn yet but hopefully in a couple days!

    Years ago when I was teaching, I did not have a room to myself - I traveled from classroom to classroom. I did have a desk, though, out in the hall. It looked kind of lonely so I painted a picture of a great big window with a scene and taped it above my desk. I also painted a picture of a telephone, a coat rack, and a little shelf with books and nicknacks on it. Wallah!!! It looked like a very cozy office and made it more comfortable for me to use. Have to have a strong imagination though! You might try this in your new room. Have fun!
