We (nearly everyone I know, signed the petition we sent them) did a letter writing campaign to get the fabric back. I am very proud that we were heard!

The Walmart here marked down all of the precuts and cleared out what they had about a months ago. I was in there yesterday. All the other craft supplies had been relocated. A small cutting table was there and they are stocking bolts. They also got in more precuts. Some new, some the samw as the ones I bought on clearance. They are also carrying Singer Notions now.

Just like any store one has to look at the quality, price and compare. One can find some awesome material anywhere if they just look at quality, price and their budget.

They had more fabric at our local Wally World as well. Now if they would just hire help to cut it for the customers that would be nice. You can wait for half and hour, all the time ringing the bell on the counter, and nobody comes.

I agree that the LQS can be over priced, but they are out to make a living, with rent and everything that goes with it.It's hard work.I'm going to stay with my LGS and the other shops.
