My sister and I took a day trip Saturday up to Beech Mountain N.C.----snowing and 27 degrees. Burrrrr. There was a police officer directing traffic who told us it was 20 degrees colder at the top of the mountain and snowing harder. Since we were dressed in lightweight fall clothing, we didn't even get out of the car.
I've never seen snow this early.

Not here Oct. is pretty nice all 7 days of have been high 70s and low 80s and its suppose to be the same for the next 7 days and I'm enjoying it-- Sept was rainy and cold with high winds and we set a new record for 111/2 inches of rainfall I don't mind rain but 28 days of it had me thinking about building a small Ark

We have had 80's all week long, sun and we actually are in a drought! But it is so beautiful out with the leaves changing. Edie

I was from Calgary,Ab actually live in Airdrie 20 yrs then moved to the Island but our kids and grandkids and my other family are still all there. Guess i wont be booking a flight any to soon to visit if snow already there . First snow fall is always a mess with drivers as they forget how to drive in snow . I sure dont miss that ..
