    i found the pattern on mountainpeek creations.com for $8 they have some really great patterns some they email to you as pdf's and others they mail. don't know the difference or why but who cares lol i sent for 4. they got me. good luck

    I found some instructions for shadow box quilts on eHow. I didn't spend much time looking at it but it appears the basics are there.

    Your squares are gorgeous. I also think hobo2000's shadow pattern would be perfect. Also like Tashana's quilt. Love the colors.

    Oh that if beautiful fabric! I like the shadow quilt. It is not as boring as just squares with sashing.

    Beautiful!! Shadow squares have my vote..
    I love seeing the suggestions made and just this week tried the Hidden well block.. I love it.. As soon as I figure out how to I will show some of my projects.

    I found this http://www.daystyledesigns.com/austr...adowsquilt.htm A pattern by Leah Day that looks very similar to the quilt that we all admire. It is a bit more expensive but comes with video of Leah FMQing the various areas according to the ad.

    As much as shadow squares shows off the batiks, I am still looking for a quilt that involves the whole, with some movement. I did find, at someone's suggestion- going to Modabakeshop.com, this quilt. What do you think? http://www.modabakeshop.com/2012/04/...arm-quilt.html It would lop off some of the fabric of the square. I would make the squares 6" instead of the 5" charms. Is is too hard do you think? Thanks for the discussion,
