    Absolutely georgeous! My thoughts go to the recipient. I can only imagine the awe when he/she is awarded this beautiful quilt for service to our country. From experience, I know that most of the QOVs are given to the injured. What a wonderful tribute for his/her sacrifice.

    You are to be commended for your compassion and thoughtfulness. Your quilt will be cherished.

    Thank you all for the kudos. This quilt is going to a very special Veteran....my husband. 2 tours Vietnam, 1Desert Storm & now the biggest fight of his life...cancer. We've got a Drs appointment today to get the "good news" as to how bad it is. Say a prayer for us, we're going to need it.
