I'm anxious to get back to quilting. Right now I am making window treatments for the main floor of my DD and SIL's cabin. They are expecting family at the end of this month and are attempting to get things in order as well as finishing several major renovations. The lower level will have his ham radio equipment and toys, while she will have a very nice sewing room with Amish built-in furniture. She has two barn doors closing off her room. Sweet! There is also a great room, BR, BA and utility room on this level. Obviously, this is not the ordinary run-of-the-mill cabin as the upper two levels are quite nice and finished. ----- Now I know why I quilt!!!

I"m making a second Home Tweet Home mini quilt for a gift today. A photo of this is shown on my avatar. It was a free pattern I found on modabakeshop.com and it is a fast project.

On Ringo Lake - blocks on design wall, ready to start putting together probably tomorrow. I'll post a pix when I'm done. Have to get it done (for show and tell) before May - Bonnie will be at the local guild lecturing and teaching classes.

oh wow! How cool that you'll be able to take you BHMQ when you meet her. Fingers crossed that you'll have no interruptions in your quest...

I assembled 7 rows on my Sylvia's Bridal sampler quilt. Coming together easily, praise the Lord. Just taking it slow and easy and ensuring that all points are accounted for!! Lol!

Have nothing under my needle this weekend as I'm trying to destash my sewing room of un=necessary or unwanted items. Been pulling fabrics I know I'll never use and taking them to our local thrift store. So far they've received 7 large brown grocery bags from me. Some are dress fabrics so don't fret that its all quilting fabrics. I'm getting a new robotic system for my Innova so I'm trying to get it all cleared away before they come to install hopefully at the end of the month. I do have Bonnie Hunter's Allietaire up on the design wall though and have been putting the rows together between cleaning. Also been watching all the IQ videos I can find to get a feel for the system. I'm so excited I feel like a kid in a candy store.
