Well I needed to order from MSQ anyway, so I will be getting that cutter. Thank you for all the suggestions and recommendations.

I received mine and have been cutting away on 1.25" squares for next pixel quilt. Very smooth. However...I find that I hit the center knob when cutting more than 2 layers! Like it but not loving it!

In truth the smaller the blade the more accurate the cut I can cut four layers with the 18 just fine. I would love the new cutter in the 18 size. Blades are much cheaper too.

I would love to try a Framore with the Olfa Deluxe handle design!
Same! I love my Olfa that automatically closes! And I love how the handle feels.

I got mine. So far like it. I don't usually use the 60 mm although I have one and blades. I started using the 18 mm one sometimes but I guess I always go back to the 45 mm. I love a gizmo so I try a lot of different things.

The Famore's are out of stock everywhere. (MSQ bearing cutters also out of stock.) I notice that Amazon has some Headley's with a bearing (both 60 and 45), but the grip looks less ergonomic. Anyone try the Headley bearing cutters?

I've been using my new MSQ cutter for a few months now and like it. However, i am now finding that it unscrews with every use, making it less accurate and more annoying.

    it unscrews with every use

I read somewhere maybe facebook about this happening to someone. I forget the fix or cause but it was a simple one.
