Not really office supplies, but the hard case eye glass holders are great for small scissors, a seam ripper, some clips, and Chapstick (which BTW I use when threading needles! A little Chapstick on the end of the thread gives it a little stability and holds the fibers together. So easy to thread the needle then). Happy quilting!

Been using boxes from the sporting good dept. for many years , some have movable dividers for different sized things amd seem like stronger plastic.

They usually have better prices on Fiskars and Ott Lites. I also get vinyl sleeves to file my patterns and the plastic two pocket porfolios (especially at back to school sales) to use for template cutting. Tape for collecting loose threads and paper cutting scissors. Adding machine tape for designing borders. I can usually spend money in any store.

I saw some "cookie" cutters at Michaels (any store has them I guess) that were simple in design and about 1/2" tall that would make good templates to LA quilt around. Much sheaper than quilting templates.

I use "Sticky Fingers" on the tips of my fingers no matter what I'm doing in the quilting process ..... cutting, piecing or quilting. It makes it SO MUCH EASIER to hold onto the fabric without putting any strain on my hands, wrists or shoulders. If I'm quilting something larger than a wall hanging, tho, I still tend to use the red halo as it seems to help me focus better on the area where I'm quilting rather than how much is still left to quilt (which is what I do when I don't use the halo)!

Removable tape is great when you rip a pp pattern by mistake. It can be sewn through without gumming up the needle. I like the double sided removable tape to hold hard to match seams together, stick a print out the wall etc. The removable labels sure come in handy to label bins and boxes. I usually change what is in one and the labels come right off.
