For me there's no desire to do a Baltimore Album. I like applique but not THAT MUCH!
I'd rather save the money and buy an antique one but I don't see that happening either lol :D

OK, I agree with the lady who said never say never - I used to really dislike contemporary and only like trad - now I'd say I've gone the other way. The only thing I could say I'll NEVER do is a kit where the pattern and fabrics are all picked out for me. I don't see the point when I know EXACTLY how something will turn out from the outset. The bargello I made recently was a real challenge although I'd chosen my own fabrics. That's one of the reasons why I LOVE techniques like the OBW - the process is the point as much as having the finished piece, you never know quite how it will turn out.

Some patterns i am not crazy about, but that doesn't mean that next month or next year they won't appeal to me. At one time a HST scared me half to death lol. right now what is on my Never list is applique, but it doesn't scare me as much as it use to :)

I don't think I will ever want to make a civil war reproduction quilt, a rag quilt or a scrappy quilt. Just not my taste (although I occasionally see one of these on here that almost tempt me).

I also never wanted to make a traditional drunkard's path, but some of the more modern ones I see with batiks have changed my mind, so I guess I should never say never. :-D

Turning Twenty. I positively HATE huge chunks of fabric globbed here and there in quilts.

Disappearing 9 Patch. I know everyone here seems to love them and I love to look at your's but I don't like making them. I have one that's a UFO and very apt to stay that way.

Would like to make all of them but don't have the courage to try the more advanced ones.

Sounds crazy, but I have no desire to make a log cabin quilt.

I used to think there were several styles of quilt I would never want to do - but then someone posts a photo of one, with wonderful fabric choices and colourways, and it makes the style suddenly appealing - so the "dont like" list gets smaller!
