Even though this page scrolls, the space is not near enough to list his faults, but I love him to death!

To list a few - never picks up his Sunday paper and recycles when done with it - leaves open cupboard doors - NEVER NEVER NEVER cleans off his desk, it gets to where his screen on his computer is partially covered before he decides to start pitching a few things.. But his choice - I do not work in his space!

Yes, he is a messy person, but you'd never know it to look at him in public - as neat as a pin, and so who am I to complain, when he is perfect in everyway but neatness.

My big "gripe" was that my husband never put his socks in the dirty clothes basket--just dropped them (in the bedroom) where he took them off. One day when I was grumbling to myself about it, I had a "moment of truth" and began to think about all the things he DID NOT do--he didn't abuse me or the kids, he supported us well, he took care of the yard, he was kind to others, etc. etc. The outcome was that those dropped socks never bothered me after that (and I still had to pick them up and toss them in the basket) and did so for the 40 years we were married. Hard to believe he's been gone for 15 years now.

Mine does do things that irritate me...however its mostly because I'm so darn irritable and grouchy! I can honestly say that I have habits that are much worse to live with than his are...and he does do some of the things mentioned here!! LOL!! Poor guy!

Been there, done that. Haven't smacked him yet, tho.

He reads yesterday's paper and wants to read an interesting item to me. Hello, I read it already! He does this while I am trying to read TODAY'S paper! Love him anyway. He probably has a longer list on me than I do on him.

Mine drops everything on the kitchen table. Opens his mail and leaves it and the empty envelope on the table, brings in some project he's working on guess where it is. Yep, on the table. Then gets mad when he can't find it because I moved it.
