    I would leave the faces blank. Can't wait to see this finished.

    Yes, absolutely, leave them blank. What a beautiful memorial quilt!

    Leave the faces blank but add french knots for the buttons and something for the arm patch to make it look more like a uniform.

    agreed that the faces are fine blank. The idea of different shades for skin is a great suggestion. I love the idea of your quilt. Keep going!

    I have a friend that paints faces for the ceramic dealer here. Possibly someone like that could help. If you can't find any one you could send them to me & i could have her do it, probably wouldn't be that much. Good luck Linda
