    just dont sit on them, like I did years ago. freaked my dad out. that almost made it worth it. The tetnus shot in the other cheek was worse. LOL. oh, yea get a tetnus shot if you are not up to date.

    Ouch - oh I can feel your pain. I haven't been attacked my scissors, but I invariably will step on needles or pins - very painful ouch. But I have been "stabbed" with my slippers on, so it pays to be careful.

    I never enter my sewing room without shoes on my feet! I've never had a problem but, many years ago, one of my students trod on a needle at home and was off school for several weeks!

    Ouch! So sorry you hurt yourself. Our sewing places are such a haven for us all that it's easy to forget that they are chock full of sharp objects. I'm amazed by the number painful accidents that are mentioned here on the board.
