    Lovely quilts - I like the narrow sashing on the rectangles a lot. But I don't get why one is a 'bone marrow' quilt and I think I don't want to know!!!

    I graduated nursing school three years ago. The students all 'went in on' the cost of any quilt that was given to an instructor. I made time, therapy if you will, to make the quilts for the instructors.

    I call the middle one the bone marrow quilt, because it looked to me like what you'd see under a microscope if you were looking at bone marrow...but in colors!

    Wonderful quilts and good for you. My DIL is an RN and I have great regard for anyone in that field.
