We also had an October wedding, October 2. It was a beautiful warm, sunny day, although very windy! It was such a special time. Very simple compared to most weddings now days. I think it was 45 years ago, although I have a hard time with that since I feel like I'm 45 now:)

30 years and counting! I wake up with a smile every day knowing he is there. He wakes up grumpy, but he is not a morning person. I am so grateful. I have been given a wonderful gift. He has too...and he knows it...which makes it great!

Karen, congratulations. You are behind me about 10 years with the marriage to the same man thing. Just recently I thought I might lose the man and 47 would be it. Now I hope to make 50 with him. When ya coming to Alaska so I can meet you? I love meeting with other quilters and have made a lot of cyberspace friends thruogh quilting.
