    Try contacting your health dept. Mine has a bin for collection old prescriptions, you take them out of the bottle and put them in a plastic bag and drop them off. This year our local police dept. along with two senior citizen home sponsored a drive in a local church parking lot. You didn't even get out of your car, they came to you & you even got small tote bags, of course they had advertisements on them but I took care of that by putting yo yos on them

    I was surprised that something I thought was going to be "quick and easy" to do - wasn't - at least not in what I consider a responsible way.

    Around here we can take the unused meds to our local pharmacy.
    You can also get in touch with the Veterinarians that do the low cost spay/neuter and animal vaccinations, some of them will take them since lot of the animal meds are actually people meds.
