    to butterflyspain: This is so spectacular that I think it should be placed in a museum to show later generations what was done in the 21st century

    Thanks for sharing these "works of art". This gal is very talented. My Mom used to do beautiful hand embroidery. Unfortunately, that talent skipped a generation!!! Ihave a beautiful Charles Wysocki crewel embroidered piece that Mom made me many years ago. I'll have to post it one of these days, along with some of the other framed pieces I inherited when she died. When we cleared out my Mom's stuff after her death, my sisters had NO interested in taking her embroidered pieces. Their loss, my gain :wink:

    How wonderful to have these special pieces your Mom made, you are like me, these are to be treasured.

    Has she ever sold any of her work? I would think she could get a pretty penny for her beautiful artwork. Absolutely beautiful and you're such a good egg to share with us :) :) :) :)
