I didn't press my binding

Luckily I read this just in time and used the techniques in a lap quilt I finished. I couldn't believe how the ends came together without an exact 45 degree angle. Everything about it was easier!

How lucky for me to find your advice on binding and not pressing in order for the fabric to lay flatter when sewing.
I have just machine stitched the binding on my quilt to the front. Now I will turn it to the back and will be ready to hand stitch. Thanks, for your info. I will try it soon. copycat
