Wow, you all haveso much to be proud of.
You for spreadiing uour craft knowledge and them for being such great students.
I collect sand from all over the world, about a teaspoon worth.
my heritage is from Poland. Grandpa and grandma Kosinski from Krakow.
my other side i dont know, but last namw was Vischneschki,shorted to Vicknici in the Usa.
if ever you have the oppurtunity so send me a spoon of sand. I would greatly appriciate it.

This is too funny. I have sand all over my yard. I'll prepare an envelope now and put it with our stuff for when we go back to the states next year, ok? (I have a stack of stuff, books, etc. that needs to go back.)Originally Posted by lynnie

This is such a heartwarming story. What a gift you have given these children, a quilt to keep them warm and a skill they may use later in life.
Lynnie you may want to take your address off the message. Check with a moderator about removing it. And how's that Iowa sand doing these days? Does it have a barn smell?

I remember seeing them start their quilts. I'm so glad they got them finished. I'm very proud of them and the others that helped with the tying too(that also is an important job). I'm so glad they get to spend time with you while their mom is at work. Looks like they are having lots of fun and learning alot also.

Its so nice to pass knowledge and passion on to the next generation. They did a wonderful job. So did you by teaching. The old adage It takes a village to raise a child is certainly true here.
