    Points are usually lost because there isn't an enough of a seam allowance from the point to the edge. If you adjust this before you sew it together you shouldn't lose any points. A trim in time saves the point LOL Another cause as in HSTs is if the seam of the HST doesn't come out evenly on the corner. the material on each side of the seam should be the same.

    If your points were cut off, it's definitely not noticeable. It's a great quilt - I love it.
