Nancia-my tea just blew out through my nose! You are just too funny! Thanks for the laughs! You've made my day!Originally Posted by nancia

I went to lqs with dh to pick up thimble dots and didn't buy even thread, which, if i had to, i could have woven into fabric. My case is being presented at the medical school of fiber and weave, sometime next month. Drs from all over the world! Hope they an save me! I'm all torn up!

I finished 2 more baby quilts from donated tops. I used backing from my stash.
I have a teacher 25% off coupon for the weekend and need to look if any fleece is on sale to match with some remnants and bigger pieces that were donated. If any fleece is on sale though, I need to stay away from the remnant bin at Joann's because I don't want to start any new fleece blankets because I have enough to finish for an October event!

Last night at guild we stated New year's resolutions for roll call. I might have mentioned my fabric moratorium and fessing up to how many yards I had purchased last year. As if on cue, a friend strolls over with a huge bag of scraps--mostly sips of this and that--cut off triangles and the like and told me I should be set for a while.
Little later--another friend also had a sack full. Another round of

! They know me too well and they all expect to see some mini's out of their scrap bags!!! Which of course I will make.

I'm being very good this year. Two weeks in and I've only spent $15 on trim and buttons - no fabric! Turns out to be a good thing since we had a pipe burst, replaced the windshield on my car, and are now replacing the busted shower faucet (a little bit of a rough month, yes?)
@oksewglad, congrats on all the loot!

I'm a bit late, But I'd like to join,
My name is Teresa and I'm a....an....a.....fabricholic. There first step is done!
I've done quite well this year so far. I've only purchased 2 small pieces of fabric needed to complete my round on a round robin. I've reorgnized my new found sewing room and looked through all of that beautiful fabric and the many, many UFO's. I've sworn to not start anything new until my Ufo's are done. Ugh, that may take me until mid 2015. I also swear to only purchase fabric "needed" to finish these projects up. Wish me luck!

You are in good company, Teresa. I realized that I don't have enough backing for the next project (it is 90" square). Since it is for a gift, I asked the new owner to help me pick backing fabric. Yes, I KNOW that backing doesn't count but I had really hoped to stay out of the fabric store for a bit longer.
