    BTW, about removing the non-blues, my artistic relatives insisted that I should leave them. They add SPARKLE. I think that's actually true now, but I agree they were an eyesore with the busy quilt.

    I do like this revised version a lot. It lightens it up, gives the eye a place to rest, and you still have the Seuss fabric. I'd use the the plain Seuss blocks on the back. But your first version wasn't bad, either. A child would love it.

    Love the white sashing as it tames it down even though really loved the first picture little ones love busy things.
