    Yes, I was thinking the same thing. Are you sure she is your friend? Sounds a little snarky to me...just my opinion.

    I double my bias binding and machine stitch it to the front of the quilt with a 1/4" stitch and then I sew the binding by hand with a blind stitch on the back. It goes quickly while you watch TV and you can fudge a little when you are sewing by hand.
