    The quilting is so wonderful. Can you share with us how you did it, or where to find instructions for that design?

    Gorgeous. I made a similar quilt about 15 years ago, where the satin was part of the grandmothers fan. Everyone said the satin was a bad idea because it would break down, or not wash well. Ha! I have it on my bed 3 to 6 months out of the year, and sleep under it when it is on the bed, and it has held up and washed beautifully. Here is a pic from my album on this Quilting Board:
