    He should be surprised. My DH keeps saying "where is a quilt for me" Guess this would be a good one also to make for him, Your's sure is pretty. Thanks for sharing

    First let me say that your quilting is stupendous and a great touch to the quilt itself.

    Love the quilt, the colors and the pattern. I've been wanting to do a 'coin' quilt for a long time.

    Of course you may ask! I made the "stacked coin" strips from a jelly roll so they started out at 2½ wide. I strip pieced 4 sections of 10 or 12 strips together, then cut them into 6" wide sections and arranged them into what you see in the pic. It looks random, but isn't really. The sashing is also 2½" wide.

    I would not have thought to put those colors together, but sooooo pretty. "manly enough" but still pretty too lol. Love your quilting too.
