Just checking in to let you know I received a beautiful block from missgigglewings and a F8 from sew1096. DH is doing a little better each day. Having a port-a-cath put in for the chemo today. At least we will have a peaceful Thanksgiving and then the treatments will start. Have lots of blocks cut out just need to sew and mail.

I also received a block from miss gigglewings, I really like it, the colors look so good with it! I decided to take a break from my work and make some blocks so tomorrow I will finish them up and put them in the holiday mail! I am very Thankful that I don't have to cook! I imagine that so is the family ;-) So since I have the day free from cooking, I figured I would do what I enjoy the most and that is sew!

I made a mistake and sent this fabric, in a finished block to the wrong person, now I am trying to find out who this belongs to, I may have sent you the wron block also, thanks for any help solving the mixup.

i am making a very special friend of mine a breast cancer survivor quilt and some of you have received fabric for this quilt. my friend is not only a survivor but she has gone on to be an ambassador and fundraiser for susan g komen foundation, an inspiration to other survivors through her fashion shows, a motivator for others at the breast cancer center here and an overall inspiration to all who know her and went through the struggles with her.
