    The quilt is beautiful but I have no idea of its worth. I just had to reply as I also have a Toby but mine is a smaller white furry dog - a poodle and spitz mix. I agree with everyone who said you need to somehow utilize your picture of the back.

    That is a beautiful quilt. I would not however store it in plastic. If you store it put it in a cotton pillow case.

    Thank you for sharing this.

    I have been told repeatedly that heirloom quilts need to be taken out and aired from time to time, then rolled in acid free papers, but not put in plastic as they could mildew. Leaving it in folds for long periods can result in creases to the threads.

    Maybe you should get yourself a quilt rack and display it...If you sell it you will be sorry some day. It is a beautiful quilt.

    Doggy seems a little surprised to see this head sticking out from under the blanket..... ;) usually heads are so much further up :-D

    Please take it out of the plastic and store it in a pillow case or material. Also refold it every quarter if keeping it much longer. They go fast, once they start. cmaras
