    Elmer's school glue is a starch product. Rubber cement is made with all kinds of chemicals. There is a big difference in these two products.

    i met her @ the north carolina quilters symposium... she sells a top to put on the elmers glue bottle that is really fine.. so you get just a tiny drop of glue...

    i already used it & worked great

    love glue stick for some areas of piecing, never thought of it for hair, but will try it on my grandson
