I still have a half finished book of these in my box. Of no use now except to pass the story on to the next generation I guess.

We still have the card table purchased with stamps the first year of our marriage. (1967) It was 'on sale' for fewer books since it had been discontinued and was the last one in the store. It has been a great value over the years. I particularly liked it because it was round not square so it was a little larger. This was especially nice when we needed it for a dining table,

I remember S&h and the top value stamps. I saved them both and we had a top value store here in town here you could get all kinds of stuff. I got a lot of stuff for my first baby there such as a bottle sterilizer and baby stroller. Sure wish they had something like that now.

I remember! We got the stamps at the local Publix when I was growing up in Florida. Bought all kinds of things with them, too many to remember, but LOVED looking through the possibilities and saving up and stock piling the books with the goal in mind.

I remember S&H stamps. I recall there were different sizes, the regular size to fill a page or three jumbo stamps per page. What fun and how exciting to go with my mother to redeem them. The store was great. I remember licking them and putting them in the little books.

Oh yes I remember! I coyly told him I'd been giving them out all day. so I had the last laugh!
OMG!!! Hilarious! That doc and nurse probably retold that story for years!
