    Great idea. I'm currently working on an applique that uses several colors of thread. That would be an excellent solution and make my sewing so much easier! Thanks for the idea.

    I have been using these boxes for thread storage
    since last yar when School Suppliles went on sale.
    They are wonderful.

    What a great idea when using multiple threads. For a single spool just use an empty pill jar, poke a hole in the lid, and there you are -- something you'd just throw away being recycled.

    Awesome idea! I use old prescription bottles with a hole in the lid. Then I insert a smidgen of fabric with the needle and about 5 pins in it and a pair of fold-up scissors.

    I use oold pill bottles for the broken bent needles, dulled machine needles....anything sharp that I don't want to "discover" in the trash. When its full, on to the next one!
