We took a cruse to Alaska 2 yrs ago. If you are not BIG drinkers forgo the drink ticket. We did just fine w/out it. We would go to what ever town we were at and find the liquor store and buy wine for "Happy Hour" before we went to dinner. There were 10 of us traveling together. Take the Zip Ride if you get the chance, it was great!!

Layer, Layer, Layer, even for your head. It get COLD near the glaciers and when out at sea. We had a balcony w/sliding doors, that was great. I wore my Gortex hiking boots on shore and dress shoes on ship. Get some gloves and fleece earmuffs.
