    I found a high school ring one day while pumping gas. The owner had his initials in it, and I was lucky enough to track him down by going thru the old yearbooks at the library. He was thrilled to get it back, so I can imagine after 29 years just how happy you are to see yours again. Congratulations.

    Thank you all! I wore it to work just for today and yes the ring stayed on the finger i made sure of that! It can happen to any one of us including lost quilts! That's happened to me as well and was never found too but who knows... :wink:

    Great story! Thanks for sharing! (PS. Love the ring....mine was the same blue starburst stone but with white gold....I still pull it out and put it on; it was vsry special to me. So glad you got yours back!)

    Did the lady say where/how she found it??

    What's most amazing (scary) is that she could find you - even where you live - and she was in NYC -in a matter of a few hrs.
