As long as you set your machine to sew the scant 1/4" seam and you line up the seams the end result will look like yours. You did great! Helps to have the 1/4" guide (post its, painters tape, mole skin) along with the 1/4" foot lined up correctly set at a scant 1/4" seam. I used 1/4" graph paper, placed the paper so only one vertical row of squares was to the right of the needle, set the needle down to the right of the left line of a graph paper square. Then placed the mole skin along the edge of the paper. Seams line up every time.
