I was thinking a dark pink binding would be really pretty with your very beautiful baskets.

Yes audition the fabrics, but I'm voting for a beautiful shade of green as a flang then a beautiful pink as border or vice versa.

[quote=Grama Lehr]I think a narrow black border around each block would really frame them!
I would also consider setting them on point, so the baskets are going all in one direction. Lovely work!![/quote

Narrow frame & setting them on point will make them pop!!
    Beautilful blocks

These blocks are light, lacy and delicate looking. To continue that theme, I think a simple binding would work well. Try auditioning different colors along the edge of the quilt. A light colored floral fabric containing most of your thread colors may also work.

For the feather stitch on the seams, lighter thread may work better than darker. Those baskets are absolutely beautiful and I would keep the emphasis on those. I'm looking forward to seeing your finished quilt.

Thanks at this point I am really thinking of goinjg this way..if I put it on point as some suggestged i'd have to make more or use plain blocks in between and that would make it bigger..I really like the simple binding idea...lol I think...will look at it and think about it for a while since my fabrics are all in Ct and I am in NC now
