27", 9" and 2" of 3 fabrics and you can make a pillowcase. Go to MissouriStarQuiltCo.com and they have a tutorial to make them. Easy and a special gift.

I like all these ideas! I'm already through with mine. I made Christmas mug rugs for the kids & grandkids; 14 of them. And gave them out at Thanksgiving time so they could use them the whole month of December.

I also vote for this idea--they will all love it if they are avid quilters and it will be simple for you.

How about a small basket with some FQ's and a couple of other small notions depending on your budget. Sue

If it were me I'd want fabric. Since I do so much I don't have rm for more stuff...This way they can do what they wish with it and probably give it away. I wish someone would just ask me" what do you want"...the answer "fabric".
But here's some photo's I've made for non quilters

The ten minute table runner is great, have you seen that pattern. Just requires 2 pieces of fabric, I believe 1/2 yard and 1/3 yard or something like that. No batting required and it's really easy.

HobbyKat, I really like your ideas of the top two little quilts. Thanks for posting what you have created.

How about a set of coasters for each. If time, you might also make a table runner to match the coasters.
