Try 505 spray baste instead of pins. It really works no puckers.

The first is my own design, and appliqued for my five year old ggrandson I think I will call it "busy quilt for a busy boy" that seems like a long name for most that I have seen but it fits the design and the boy.

A fairly young guy in our parish died recently leaving behind 2 adult sons and 5 younger daughters. I'm making pillow cases for the gals for 12th day of Christmas gifts. (Today is the 3rd, Ephipainy is the 6th!)

translate that as I need to get off here.

I'm cutting pieces for a spool block lap quilt in Christmas fabrics. Hoping to gift everyone quilts next Christmas; we'll see how that goes!

I was going to start knitting...I have been buying needles...but shocked on how much yarn cost and how much is needed. I never had any idea that it was that expensive. I went to a thrift shop today everything is donated for the dogs in need...and many people donate. One person donated 3 beautiful afgans, after seeing how much it would cost me to make...I bought one for 10.00 - its beautiful so sad people have no idea how much it cost to make these not including time.

Working on a quilt that someone is buying! I did one for a silent auction and church and she didn't win so asked me to make one - I quoted a price that I thought was on the high end - but she is fine with it. Also a quilt for a silent auction that raises money for clothing for children.
