Marshall Dry Goods is a large warehouse type store that has lots of branded fabrics. They sell retail yardage at the store, pretty fabrics! And they sell whole bolts wolesale on line. They also have bins of a remnants and misdyes for $1.00 a yard. It is a veritable feast when you visit!

Like anywhere you buy fabric, you have to look at what you're buying. Feel the heft of the fabric, put your hand behind it to see if it's sheer, etc. There is a wide range of fabric manufacturers and designers represented, but many of them are major ones, such as Marcus Brothers, Michael Miller, etc. So if you have a basic understanding of what to look for in a good fabric, you can do just fine.

That makes sense... thanks for the answer. How nice to have it within driving distance... but I'd get in way too much trouble. I have enough problem keeping away from the Mennonite shops. I'm fabric full.

Your fabrics are great and the price of the batiks is unbelievable. I would say you had a very good day. Have fun using these fabrics.

Got to get out my map and see how far Bateville,Arkansas is from here.I'm always up for a little driving trip, if I get to shop when I get there. You really got some neat bargains. We'll all send you our lists and money and let you start a shopping service for us.So nice you and your wife are in the same hobby.Notice you have a keen eye for fabric colors. No wonder your quilts turn out so beautiful.Keep up the good work.Makes me a little ill when I think about what I have to give for fabrics like these.
