I also would be interested in the swap. AFTER you get the approval & details posted. Having 5 grands at my home at one time...I have learned that "patience is a virtue" & I applaude you for attempting this swap.
I, like a few, have never participated, so being a 'newbie' at this, hopefully can participate. I will be watching & lurking like I usually do....LOL

At least this would be the ONLY way I would wash 2.5 inch strips! lol I lose color catchers in the washer, much less 2.5" strips. lol It wouldn't be different than washing fabric for any other swap.
I too am a non-washer, but many people can't handle unwashed fabrics and I am sure that is the reason for prewashing.

What a great idea.
Thanks

I was a partial participant in the earlier swap. By "partial" I mean that I donated strips because I wanted to reduce my stash and I wanted to surprise a few others who were swapping by allowing them to get more than they were planning on getting. Don't know how that part ever panned out, but I was happy to cut up fabric into strips, especially if I had used the fabric in other projects already and I was looking to pass it along.
Here is the link to how that swap was run. In a nutshell, you could specify that your strips be washed or unwashed. You would get the same category that you sent in.

This is just an idea that the host of any potential new swap could incorporate.
