    Me again..maybe I can explain myself a bit better using your first image. If you were to turn the center 4 patch so the yellow block is in the place of the peach block you will get 4 rather abstract looking squares in the block.

    Now I've totally confused everyone I'm sure

    That's what I was thinking too. Make a couple more and put them together and see what you think. I like the colors.

    Absolutely you should go with it! I agree with the posters who hva suggested doing a few more blocks and putting them all together. You'll be surprised at the outcome!

    I ended up giving 9 of my blocks to my friend who absolutely loved them and kept 4 of them for myself... I will email the finished product soon.... Thank you all so much for all the comments.... This is the first project I ended up not liking enough to finish.... hope it is the last... :) Be back soon...
