fun topic! My DM made my wedding dress. In 1970, it was white velvet, long sleeves (?) with satin collar and cuffs. Oh, and it is a mini dress. I have some scraps from the bride maids dresses, so maybe I will make a quilt some day. Or, it may be a wall hanging since the dress does not have much fabric to it!!!

Mine was my mother's. It was 60 years old when I ripped it apart and had it remade to fit me for my wedding. My mother was thrilled and it brought tears to my father's eyes. They are both gone, but that memory will live with me forever. Since I'm reasonably sure it will never be worn as a wedding gown again, I'm thinking of trying to replicate it on a Barbie so I can actually display and see it sometime!

I have no idea what happened to the first one. It was just a light blue mini dress.

The second one is just a straight sheath style dress overlaid with lace. It's hanging in the closet. I look at it every once in a while and think I ought to do something with it.
