Right now I'm trying to straighten out my room. It's going slow. I don't have much in there for storage since it's all pretty full.
I found that one of my little cabinets (Chinese antique) is cracked...I don't like that and it's too late to put in a claim on it....
And no...I didn't take a BEFORE picture of it, but just to let you know...it was pretty bad.

With the basement remodel, I'm not sure I'll get all of this done, but I would like to:
*finish two baby quilts (*must do)
make a king-size duvet cover for the master bedroom
make kitchen curtains, placemats, table runners, pot holder, etc

I do actually have a plan for something! LOL
A month or so ago I bought a layer cake & matching jelly roll from Connecting Threads of their batiks. I've doodled out a pattern for simple blocks & the other day I found some batik WIDE backing on sale at Hancock's Paducah! My quilt class starts up again a week from Tuesday, and this is what I will be working on.
Oh, did I mention - this one is for ME!
Other than that, I'm hoping to finish up a few things from my UFO cupboard too.
Good luck to us all!!!

Maybe you need to come here and you, me and Shari can have a Quilting Bee. I'm sure others would join too!

This is my list of things to do this year –
1. Finish the Mini Bow tuck Tote that I started about 3 months ago now.
2. Complete the border on the IRR centre before next week so I can send it out again
3. Work on the theme challenge quilt so I can send it in by the end of Feb which is the deadline for this.
4. Finish the last quilt I did, this just needs a binding now so shouldn’t take long.
5. Make a quilt to raffle for charity (Cancer Assoc) mid year
6. Make a queen quilt for my son as a house warming present also needed for mid year.
7. Make a quilt for the guest room (I have twin beds in there and have already made one of the quilts so just need to make the second one.
8. If I manage to get through the list to here then I would like to start making some gifts for next Christmas.
