When in doubt, send it out! I NEVER know how to quilt my tops, but when I send them out they're always beautiful. This quilt is totally awesome! Please post it again when you get it quilted.

It's a beautiful quilt and it must have been a lot of work to applique all those shapes. Get it quilted and then you can relax and enjoy looking at it, and not have to worry about it anymore.

Your quilt is beautiful, let it hang where you can be inspired by the beautiful colors/fabric. The quilting you decide on will be as beautiful as the quilt.

You did a great job for your first time!!!!! I tried to do that and only got a little bit done. It was soooo hard for me. I put it away and forgot about it.

Would you all love to hear the next part of this quilt's saga?

Today I thought I'd trim those corner stones and the two side borders. The first side trimmed up nicely and then I started on the second border. I looked at it. Evaluated and measured. Lined up the ruler and started cutting away. As I got a little further down the side I noticed I was going to whack off the tip of a leaf. Now I'd measured that leaf and had allowed for a 1/2" clearance. Oops! I was to cut the border at 7.5" and I was using the 6.5" line!!! How could that be? Must be the new glasses! Yep! That's it!!! Whatever! I now have a nice little job in the border!

SO - I very carefully folded up the quilt top, put it into a drawer and walked out of the sewing room! Today was obviously not to be a sewing day!!! Another day I will pull the leaf loose, turn it at a more acute angle and restitch it. Then I'll go ahead and make that border 6.5" all the way down. Sometimes I think some projects are just jinxed!

I will finish this quilt someday! Just not today!!!!!

P.S. Thank you all so much. You've been so positive and encouraging! It's appreciated!
