Hey Ya'll! Hope you're all having a great day! Nice Pkgs. everyone! Krystyna you're a hoot! Glad you know where she lives! Went to my very first Quilt Show today! It was my friends 1st show also, although she has been quilting/sewing alot longer than me. We really enjoyed it, saw alot of great quilts. It was a really small one but there are a couple of bigger ones coming up and I can't wait to go to those now! I did get some good deals on some used books and magazines. I also learned not to be so hard on my own quilts. SP you should be getting your pkg tomorrow! Thanks for the Congrats on the new baby, we are so excited and I wish I knew what it was so I could start sewing! Guess I'll just have to make something neutral. LOL!

That is a cute shoe apron.....somebody had a tote bag on the picture page that was made out of some really cute fabric called Fashionista and a few of the pieces in the line were shoes...neat fabric

ok i just might have to order that shoe apron pattern that is way to cute... ok i did i think the orange fabric that i recived from Kathy will look realy good with that pattern.

Good Evening to All!

Received a wonderful gift box from sewdamncute today. It included Hera Marker, 2 prewound bobbins, several elastic ponytail holders to hold bobbins in place, a beautiful peice of fabric in bright colors, a Button Bag pattern, Sewing Machine Cover pattern, a Tips & Techniques book as well as a book by Fons & Porter Quilter's Complete Guide. Oh yes - also a box of candy Nerds for me and a frisbee for my furbaby Mallory (frisbees & tennis balls are her favorite toys!).

Thanks again Darlene for a great SP box!

I can't believe I did that, posted Kathym's package in January...its Feb Linda Really! Anyway, received my package from Kathy M and Loved everything. Really nice handmade things which I love. pin cushion filled with Padre Island sand, really special...love the shopping bag. Payday is all ready gone but made it to the picture...thanks again

Fabric prices going up again! Joann is having a sale this weekend and one of the stores nearby usually had tons of great fabrics in the red dot section. With the sale they were 50% off. Add to that another 20% for a veteran's discount! My husband and I decided to go to one particular store last night before the sale hoards cleaned them out. We were shocked that the red dot section looked like it was the end of the sale weekend. I managed to get a few things, but when I asked the lady at the cutting table about it, she said that they wouldn't be getting in as much as a direct result of rising fabric prices!
Believe it or not, my husband turned to me and said, "Well, I'm glad you're a fabric hoarder."
