You can never have too much fabric. I'm running out of hiding places.

A stash makes quilting even more fun. You don't have to go shopping when you don't want to. In a snow storm, the heavy rain, in your PJs, in the middle of the night. A stash lets your shop without going outside your lovely warm house. Yea. When you want to go shopping, you can and bring more stash home.

Welcome from Central NY! I love my stash!! I love my stash!! LOL yes I am addicted! My name is Lee and I am a fabricholic!

My husband regretably knows the size of my stash as of 9/11 cuz we moved and he had to move all the bins and shelves and tables, etc. Lol but he doesn't know about the rest (insert evil laugh) acquired since. My sil, who doesn't quilt or sew saw my sewing area, not even my stash, which is in a different room told menthat I had enough fabric and didn't need to buy more - hex on her!

I love JabezRose's comment ... I'm doing for the environment ... saving on wear and tear on my car and saving on gasoline and eliminating pollution ... that's why I must collect those totes full of fabrics!

I really, really like your comment Judy, that my stash is allmy favorite colors and designs. I'd never looked at it with that thought before, that is probably why my sewing room is a real comfort zone to me! Thanks for the comment :0)

Wonderful! This past year $$$ has been really tight and I'm so glad I have a stash. I've been shoppin in my collection and making things. I noticed lately that couple of the color bins are going down, so that means I'll be watching yard sales this summer. Welcome, you're a true quilter/sewer now
