Sorry for your loss, but you did a wonderful job on the quilt and turning lemons into lemonade! Hugs to all.

I am so sorry for your loss, but what a beautiful quilt. I am sure your sister will enjoy it. My sister is raising one of her grandchildren as well. God Bless you and your family.

It is a lovely quilt. It is a wonderful way to keep your sister's grandson and your late brother connected. I know it was difficult to finish, but I know that your sister is glad that you did and gave it to her.

God bless you, what a painful loss for all of you, but what a blessing and comfort for Darian who may be unable to express how much he loves and misses his precious Uncle, but wrapping himself in the quilt meant for his Uncle may speak volumes of love and comfort for him as he works through his loss with all of you. The precious reminder of the love you put into this quilt will warm all of your hearts and God will help you to heal.

So sorry to hear of your brother's passing. I know exactly how you feel..... my darling brother passed 6 years ago, he was only 43 years old. He was my big brother who looked after me and I felt very alone when he passed. It was a lovely gesture you made with the quilt.... God Bless!

    Hugs

    Caroline

What a thoughtful gesture and I hope that Darien may find some solace being wrapped in a quilt made with love. My only sister passed away 2 years ago, quite suddently, although she had bravely battled a severe lung condition that limited her mobility but never her spirit. She and I were going to make a quilt together for her first great-granddaughter Camryn, sadly she passed away before we had even started. I did finally finish the quilt a short while ago, and although it was a quilt made with love, it was extremely difficult to even begin, let alone finish. However, after making a family reunion quilt in my sister's memory, which was difficult to say the least, I was able to make the quilt for Camryn. Now Camryn has a little baby sister, so I decided to make a quilt for Lindey, which needs to be sandwiched and quilted, then I can send them off to Marissa and Marissa is so looking forward to getting them. My arthritis makes sewing and quilting difficult, but I am determined to finish Lindey's quiltsoon. God bless you for finishing the quilt for your nephew.
